Leading Edge Open day
Leading Edge Aviation Open day
Today, we all had to wake up early in the morning for the long drive ahead to London Oxford Airport. This was because I, Ahyan, had been invited to an open day by the flight school 'Leading Edge Aviation'. As I would like to become a pilot in the future, I chose to attend the day and at the end was glad that I did!
When we got there, there were many other students who attended this open day and as a result, there 6 groups. All groups were shown around the campus from the dormitories to the tarmac where the training aircraft are parked. We also received a talk which explained to us how long aviation training would last, the number of exams as well as the different costs of different training methods.

All in all, it was a fun but also an informative day out! I learnt what next steps I now need to take to persue this career. I also received a small bag from Leading Edge which contained posters and a notepad which explained everything the day entailed in brief, which was really helpful.
I look forward to attending more aviation-related open days!
