Hampton Court Palace visit

No school for us today because we were going to a trip for the whole day and I knew it was going to be a fun day. We travelled by bus and visited Hampton Court Palace. I couldn't believe my eyes when we reached the place because there was so many paintings on the roof; I kept staring up there that I was almost going to fall down! I learnt about many different Kings and Queens who had lived there and also how they fit in the history of England.  

First, my friends and I also took part in an Inventors Workshop where we discovered different inventions that we know today. We went to the chocolate room and we saw how they make chocolate and we also saw a video on how they make it. (It was a new experience for me!) Next, we had lunch and after that, we saw all the paintings in the castle.

Finally, we headed back to school. I really enjoyed the experience and I would definitely go there again with my parents during the holidays.
