Junior Citizens event

Today, I had a really fun time during my visit to Brunel University where some of the Year 6 attended a Junior Citizens event. At first glance, everything looked futuristic as the stairs looked brand new, there was different coloured glass and the chairs you would find on a first class plane! They showed us safety rules like how to be safe in a plane and how to be safe when crossing roads and most importantly how to be a good citizen in life.

During our visit, we attended different sessions that involved some realistic and problematic scenarios where we had to think carefully about the actions we needed to take. There were eight scenarios in total, which covered health issues, fire safety, citizenship, home safety, dangerous substances, online safety, water safety and road safety. Overall, we were all focussed during the sessions and tried our best to listen carefully, analyse and answer questions as best as we could.

We finally went back to school and also I loved it as I have never been to a University and now I know how it feels to be in a University.
