In December, we had  to do a Christmas performance. I was very excited because I wanted to get the biggest part which is what I got. In the play, I got the second biggest part actually and it was more than I expected it to be. I had to learn everything as well as the songs. 

Over the holidays, I kept learning and learning my lines. I did not think I could do it but actually it all paid of. If you thought I didn't have fun in the holidays, I really did. It was a big moment for me because it was the time to see if all of this learning paid off!  During the performance, I was very confident - I knew when my turn was coming, and I delivered them very well as a result of that, I didn't make any mistakes.

My parents came to see my play,and they were proud of me because I did get a big part and they wanted me to!
