Mes Vacances

For my summer holiday I went to Mauritius to visit my grandparents. This time was my third visit there. On the whole I liked it, I used to pay with my cousin Saangelina and then in the end, we would be so tired that we would start getting cranky and it would end up in being separated.

On the other hand, we went out quite a bit. I used to like it when papa would drive on the coast and I could see the sea, it was colourful, and at times, when the weather was grey, the sea did not look appealing to me, and the water was quite wavy and rough.

My brother had some fun, since it was his first time there, he loved everything, especially when we would go to the beach since he would play in the sand and mess himself a lot. He used to like looking at his footprints in the sand whilst he was walking.

 

At my grandma’s house, he used to like opening the bathroom doors and going for a shower. He was funny and sometimes there was no stopping him.

 

We went to a Vanilla Crocodile park and we saw huge crocodiles, monkeys, tortoises, donkeys, and the most beautiful thing was this amazing collection of butterflies. They were all colours, shapes and sizes. They were the highlights of my trip to the park that day.

We also visited the aquarium in the north of the island and I had the chance to see plenty of marine life, and they were very colourful tropical fishes, and even the sharks were quite bright. Whilst we were there, we celebrated quite a few birthdays, there was my aunt's, uncle's, Zayden and nanimaa too. We sang a few times Happy Birthday .... it was fun!!
