Summer

At first I was a bit upset. I did not like the baby since it was getting all the attention and I felt left out. Maman keeps spending her time with the baby. Whenever he cries, maman picks him up and feeds him, burps him changes his poop nappies. The baby seems to be having dirty nappies all the time, and they stink.

Little brother, big brother

Now I feel more happy. I try to wash my brother's hair when maman is giving him a bath. I try and comb his hair too. I am more involved - I help maman. On the other side, I spend most of my time with papa. We go to summer activities together and one of my favourites is the swimming pool. I enjoy going for a swim these days. Papa leaves me and I swim all by myself. When I get home, I am so tired that I can only manage a shower, and lunch and then in my bed for a well earned siesta.
