paddling in the cold water

Last week-end, I had so much fun. For a change, the weather was gorgeous. The sun was shining so vigorously in the sky, it was sweltering hot and everyone was sweating enjoying the heat. There was not a single spot of clouds in the sky. The sky was so bluuuuuuuuuuuue. We all decided to go to Ruislip Lido. At first, I didn't know what to expect. We reached there, we had lunch and I was having fun playing in the sand making sorts of sand castles but they certainly were of different shapes.

Then papa took me just near the water and that was it for me. I didn't want to leave the shore. I so wanted to stay and enjoy the water. The water was very cold but I still enjoyed it.

It was quite funny. PICTURE THIS! I was playing nice ly in the water and I had a bad case of runny nose. I was trying t hold it but it was still coming down. Everytime, maman had to wipe my nose, ....... but what can I say it was marvellous. I so enjoyed the day.

To end the long week-end, I ended helping papa to tidy the garden.
