This week, the weather has not been very good. If not, it has been quite miserable, cold and very windy.

Despite the odds, maman, I and some friends , we all planned to go to the seaside to Bournemouth. The day started quite bad - it was pouring very heavily and it did not feel right but nevertheless we left quite early in the morning. It was fun - all our friends turned up. The journey was quite long - I got quite tired in the car seat but after a deserved break, I wore myself out and had a long nap.

Over there, we had a good time, we relaxed, had a long lunch and then we all decided to take a walk to the shores. Maman and I walked it and it felt like last december when I went to visit my grand-parents in Mauritius when we used to the sea every single day (it was really baking hot). I had that nostalgia feeling about it. The sand was very velvety, shiny but not warm at all. The water was very cold unlike the mauritians seawaters. Well after, my friends and I played on the beach - pretending to make sand castles.

Most of us, toddlers eventually got tired and had a well-deserved nap ...
