Vaccin Numéro Un

I can see I am getting bigger and bigger by the day!!

Today was another crucial date for me. I had to have my first shots of vaccinations which will immunise me against DTP-Hib*, Polio and PCV**.

*DTP-Hib (Diptheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)
**PCV (Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine - Pneumococcal infection)

This time again, I was very composed. Maman and Papa took me to my GP. I was not worried at all.

Drill: Maman fed me and I was happy and quiet and went to sleep when we left home and I was snoring when we went inside the surgery.
I was brave and only cried when the doctor injected both my thighs. I could feel slight discomfort and after the ordeal I went back to sleep. By the way, maman was holding me and papa was too nervous to even see what was being done to me!!

After effect: When I reached home, I was quiet but then developed a bit of temperature in the afternoon but I was being comforted by my parents.
And by evening, I was fine - back to the old tricks.
